Technology Transfer

The Institute for Genomic Biology has a two fold mission, to advance life science research and to stimulate bio-economic development in the State of Illinois. The Institute will work closely with the Office of Technology Management on the campus to insure its intellectual property is properly managed and developed to its full potential. Questions related to the protection, patenting and licensing of Institute intellectual property should directed to Jennifer Quirk at quirk@uiuc.edu.

The Office of Technology Management has now opened a satellite office in the Institute for Genomic Biology. Come visit them in the IGB Gatehouse Room 140 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
