The UltraMicroscope is a 2nd generation lightsheet microscope originally designed by LaVision Biotec. This lightsheet will be able to image larger samples than the Zeiss Z.1. The Olympus MVX-10 Zoom body was chosen to optimize imaging of larger samples with variable zooms from 0.63X to 6.3X. The stage has a 10mm x 10mm x 10mm travel.
