Genomic Security and Privacy (GSP) members realize with advancing technologies, protection of genomic information is the new frontier of privacy and security

With advances in genomic technologies, we can access so much more of the genomic information contained within a single biological sample today than we could just a decade ago. However, when this genomic information is linked to a person, it’s important to maintain the privacy of that information, and the ethics surrounding the collection of that sample. The Genomic Security and Privacy (GSP) theme focuses on the security and privacy of genomic information.
