The IGB Core Facilities, along with Martin Gruebele and Zaida Ann Luthey-Schulten from Chemistry, have ordered a Minflux microscope. This fluorescence microscope can locate fluorescent molecules up to 2nm and track molecules with 100 microsecond time resolution. The microscope will have two excitation lasers (561nm, 642nm) for two color imaging. The Minflux is scheduled to be installed in the fall of 2022.
