The Lunchbox is an event series centered on food that consists of monthly seminars from U of I faculty, staff and community members that are paired with special meals prepared by chefs at Bevier Café. The Lunchbox highlights the scientific connections within food’s sentimental value while exploring the interconnectivity between science, food and culture. Through a universal appreciation for food, the program seeks to create an inclusive community that encompasses people from different cultural backgrounds.

This week's talk will feature Maria Kalaitzandonakes, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Economics.
