Zeiss 880 Airyscan Upgrade
The Core Zeiss 880 will be upgraded next week to run 4 times faster.
Zeiss officially announced a 4x speed improvement for their Airyscan detector May 3, 2016. The Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology has been selected as a Demo site and Zeiss will be installing the upgrade in our instrument May 9, 2016. Zeiss will also be presenting a talk Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at noon covering the details. This is your chance to be the first in the nation to collect data from this cutting edge instrument.
