Core Facilities: Midwest Advanced MINFLUX and Super Resolution Workshop
May 30th to June 2nd
Abberior Instruments and the IGB Core Facilities at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are hosting a free Midwest Advanced MINFLUX Super Resolution Workshop. Nobel laureate, Stefan W. Hell, will be the keynote speaker on the Minflux technique to begin the workshop. Registration is Free
Super resolution fluorescence imaging provides a window into live cells with unprecedented spatial and temporal resolution. STED imaging and MINFLUX imaging are two super resolution techniques for which 40nm and 2nm resolution is respectively attainable. Super resolution optical imaging is now providing structure, diffusion and binding information on the small molecule scale.
This is an educational workshop for both current STED/MINFLUX users and researchers that would like to learn more about these microscopy techniques. Sessions will be streamed live to attendees who are not able to attend in-person. The workshop will consist of both scientific and technical talks designed to provide the background needed to start a MINFLUX or STED research project.
Participants will be able to register for hands on sessions on an Abberior STEDYCON system and /or a MINFLUX system. You may visit our website for additional information on MINFLUX.
