If you are interested in receiving our Volunteer Certification, please fill out this form below. You can fill out multiple forms if you do not have all of your hours.

Please see below for the 2 requirements to receive a certificate:

Outreach Volunteer Requirements:
- 16 hours of volunteering from August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027 (50% of those hours must be done with IGB Outreach)
- **Volunteering at our World of Genomics event will automatically qualify you for a certificate for this cohort.
Outreach Training Requirements:
- 2 training sessions related to engagement (outreach, communications, DEI, etc) provided by the University. Please check in advance to ensure eligibility of the topic and provide a link or copy of the event announcement with a paragraph summary of the topic to outreach@igb.illinois.edu
- **If you are a volunteer at World of Genomics and you attend the practice session, that will fulfill your training requirements for this cohort.
