Welcome to Art of Science 11

The IGB’s Art of Science program is a celebration of common ground between science and art. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 11.0 Art of Science Installation will be a hybrid experience! The works in this installation were created by pairing IGB scientists and their research images with current IGB artist Julia Pollack. These pieces are the result of conversations between the scientists and artist and an abstract, visual exploration to highlight the power and aesthetics of science imagery. To enjoy the show remotely, view the works and accompanying videos below. Select pieces include brief discussions between the artist and the scientist about the featured work.
